Student Summit - Flat Classroom

My topic was the World Wide Web, and then on the wiki it was government and first-person for the video. This topic was somewhat easy for me because I was really familiar with the web and the internet so I took that as an advantage in the project.  The most valuable lessons I’ve learned from this experience is that you can access everything online when it comes to anything, like when you’re in a tough situation. Edmodo and FlatClassroom.ning helped me in the long run because I was able to keep up on what my instructor asked by being on both Edmodo and ning. Getting feedback right away from your teacher or other teachers helps me because I get ideas I can form together into one and that gives me good content I have in my project. What I had enjoyed most from this project is that when there were contributors, you have immediate feedback. Biggest challenge would be that sometimes putting the whole video together was a hassle because there were deadlines and you didn’t have much help. The only change I would make would be to get more people to know about this program, because the more people who know about it, the more people you will get to use the program and contribute.
